thrilled that william tyler of the paper hats and other impressive bands is going to be joining FESTIVAL in the studio in january. here’s a louvin brothers cover we recorded one summer under the name “bailey & cato” (yes, after the soul food restaurant in nashville).
lustre in translation
I love re-translating translated interviews back into English and seeing what happens. Here’s the winner from FESTIVAL’s recent interview for LAXmag in Germany:
“I reached a point where I feel naked when I am alone, without my sister, sing.”
Though nothing will ever beat google’s translation from Dutch to English:
