Are both perhaps present in time future,

What might have been is an abstraction

today I took my vintage snowsuit out for a snowshoe…
I felt pretty invincible…
drank the best toffee hot cocoa at timberline lodge…
then drove home through the mountainforest listening to vangelis.
all in all, a beautiful day…
